We work with you and your team to determine the key messages and outcomes. What are 3 questions that the audience will be able to answer after watching your film? What challenges do you face that can be overcome by effectively communicating your story?
Our films are authentic and intentional because of this step. We do not blindly capture content and then search for your story, instead we search for your story and then tell it in a way that will emotionally engage and move your audience.
This research stage involves interviews with staff, clients, partners and stakeholders you believe could help us discover your story.
Humans are instinctively compelled to act in response to an emotion, we harness this power to move your audience. We use Main Characters to convey key messages and create strong emotional connections, and Supporting Characters add authority to your story.
We will present an outline of what your film will look, sound and feel like. This gives us a "script" to follow as we prepare for the filmed interview and gives you the opportunity to ensure that your objectives will be met. This is the stage where we can massage the story. This crucial step allows us to have a very clear picture of your film before we have even started collecting footage.
This is the magical part of the process where we get to take the storyline that you created with us and bring it to life.
This stage involves filming the interviews to build the narrative and capturing supporting footage that best tells your story.
We work with you and your team to determine the key messages and outcomes. What are the areas of your organization that the audience will know more about after watching your film? What challenges do you face that can be overcome by effectively communicating your story?
This research stage varies from the Signature Film in that we learn about the concept or area that you are looking to highlight, instead of individual people. For instance, an engineering firm may want to highlight how they are innovative, family oriented, and cost effective. In that case we will research how we can tell their story to celebrate their innovations. A Profile Film is has more of an informative feel versus a Signature Film which has more of an emotional feel.
