OUR PROCESS

DEFINE

What will the audience take away from your film?

"If one does not know to which port one is sailing, no wind is favorable" - Seneca

Determine your film's key messages/objectives.

What are the 3 questions you want the audience to be able to answer after watching your film?

CAST

Who will tell your story?

Humans are instinctively compelled to act in response to an emotion, we will harness the power of emotion to move your audience.

Main characters convey key messages and create strong emotional connections.

Supporting characters add authority to your story.

MORE ABOUT CHARACTERS

DISCOVER

Who can help us discover your story?

You give us a list of people we can connect with to find your story.

Our films are authentic and intentional because of this step.

We do not blindly capture content then search for your story... instead, we search for your story then find a way to tell it that will emotionally engage and create an authentic connection.

CRAFT

Here is your story.

Crafting your story is the magical part of the process where we get to take the storyline that you created with us and bring it to life.

This stage involves filming interviews to build the narrative and capturing supporting footage that best tells your story.

OUR APPROACH FOR YOU

OVERVIEW

Our process will be a little more streamlined with your story because we already have a Main Character, Ethan. The Discovery step will be concentrated on getting to know Ethan's story and what differentiates him. We believe one or two supporting characters would be ideal to add a level of authority, (for instance, it would carry more weight for a coach to say Ethan is highly coachable versus him saying it).

PRE-INTERVIEWS

We would have phone interviews with Ethan, you (parents), a coach, a teacher and a teammate.

Timeline - 2 Days (to account for availability)

CREATE CHARACTER BRIEF

We will present an outline of what your Ethan's film will look, sound and feel like. This gives us a "script" to follow as we prepare for the filmed interview and gives you the opportunity to ensure that your objectives will be met. This is the stage where we can massage the story. This crucial step allows us to have a very clear picture of your film before we have even started collecting footage.

Timeline - 2 Days

BUILD NARRATIVE & CAPTURE SUPPORTING FOOTAGE

We will film the interviews and create the audio bed for the film. Based on the Narrative, we will schedule and capture all relevant footage to add authenticity to the film. We will also search through the footage you have collected to gather what would be relevant for the story.

Timeline - 6 - 10 Days

DELIVERABLES

One Signature Film (3 - 5 minutes) + One Trailer (less than 60 seconds)
